A complete eradication of mites is improbable. Only lowering the population of dust mites can decrease the number of allergens. By lowering the humidity of your house by using dehumidifier, you may actually control their growing population. However, dehumidifier only takes effects on the air in your house not in the beds, mattresses, etc.
